What We Do

Design That Sells.
Engineering That Works.

The design scope is based on the product brief, intended users, mechanical constraints, target materials, manufacturing process and cost requirements.

Our designers work alongside our tooling and production engineers — which means every design decision is made with the factory floor in mind.

Concept Sketching & Ideation

Multiple design directions explored before committing to a final concept.

3D CAD Modeling & Rendering

Precise models built in SolidWorks / Fusion 360, with photorealistic renders for approval.

CMF Design

Color, material, and finish selection aligned with your brand and target market.

Ergonomics & User Experience

Human-centered design that makes products intuitive, comfortable, and satisfying to use.

Our Process

From First Sketch to Final CAD

The design scope is based on the product brief, intended users, mechanical constraints, target materials, manufacturing process and cost requirements.

01

Discovery & Brief

User research, market analysis, and technical constraints defined before any pencil hits paper.
02

Concept Exploration

2–3 distinct design directions presented as sketches and mood boards for client review.
03

Design Refinement

Selected concept developed in detail — surfaces, proportions, and functional elements perfected.
04

3D CAD & Rendering

Precise 3D model built and photo-realistically rendered for final client approval.
05

Prototype & Validate

Physical prototype produced for ergonomic testing and user feedback. Design refined as needed.
06

Production Handoff

Why HWPD

Design + Manufacturing. Same Team.

HWPD brings industrial design, mechanical engineering, prototyping, tooling, and manufacturing support together through one connected product development team.

Instead of handing your design off between unrelated suppliers, our designers and engineers work closely with the teams responsible for prototyping, DFM, tooling, and production. This helps identify manufacturing risks earlier, reduce design changes after tooling begins, and create products that are ready to move smoothly from concept to production.

With experience across automotive, consumer electronics, medical devices, robotics, and industrial products, we design with both the user experience and the manufacturing process in mind.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need an existing design to start?

Not at all. We work from the earliest stages — even a rough idea or reference product is enough. Our team guides you through concept development from scratch.

A typical project from brief to final CAD takes 4–8 weeks. Simple consumer products may move faster; complex regulated products (medical, automotive) typically take longer.

Yes — this is one of our core strengths. We offer end-to-end development from industrial design through prototyping, tooling, and mass production.

We sign a mutual NDA before any work begins. All designs, sketches, CAD files, and project data are kept strictly confidential and never shared outside the project team.
